How to Put Pictures from Facebook on Imovie
Apple has earned itself a great reputation across the globe due to the quality of products it puts in the market. While it is the iPhone and iPad that frequently makes the headlines, those who have had an experience with the company’s Macintosh computer find themselves hooked to it.
Every Macintosh computer comes with iMovie, which is part of the pre-installed iLife suite. iMovie is a real handy application that lets users create and edit movies. Furthermore, the application allows you to incorporate pictures into a video. You simply have to save the pictures from Facebook or any other site and import them to iPhoto Library to make them available for your iMovie projects.

The first thing you need to do is to open the web browser installed on your computer and open Facebook.com. Log into your account by entering your email address and password and then navigate to the Facebook gallery which has the pictures that you wish to import to iMovie.

Load the larger version of the picture that you wish to import to the iMovie by clicking it. After it opens, right-click the picture to display a context menu. Select “Save Image As” from the list of actions available on the menu and then specify the location where you want the picture to be saved.

Repeat the second step for other pictures in the Facebook gallery that you want to import to iMovie.

Once you are done saving all the pictures, launch the iPhoto application on your computer. Click “File” to display a drop-down menu. Select “Import to Library” from the menu.

A new window pane will open, allowing you to view pictures that you can import to the iPhoto library. If you want to import just one picture, simply double click it. However, if you wish to import than once picture to the library conveniently, hold down the “Shift” key while selecting the pictures through clicking. Once you are done with the selection, click “Import” to import the pictures to the iPhoto library.

Run iMovie on your computer and either open an existing project or create a new one.

Look for the “Show or hide photos browser” button, identified by a camera icon, located on the right side of the workspace. Clicking the button will display the images added to the iPhoto Library. You will find the Facebook pictures in there.

Click and drag the Facebook photos you imported to the iPhoto Library into the time-line. You can perform various actions on the pictures, which includes but is not limited to rearranging them and customising the display options.
