How to Raise a Humble Child
Everything is at your disposal on just a single click nowadays. Everyone can access all sorts of material whether legitimate or not by searching it on Google. Most of the households have fast internet connections that stream the video without any wait or delay. So, with all these facilities, raising a child with a humble attitude is extremely difficult but if you are motivated enough to accomplish the goal, you will face little difficulty in moulding your child’s behaviour towards an esteemed citizen of the society, rather than those who are despised by majority for their mischievous attitude.

You should not buy items for your child based on brands or prices. Never distinguish stuff based on the make rather appreciate everything and then buy that which you think will best serve the purpose. It will help your child in thinking all things are equal, similarly all humans are equal and no one should be discriminated based on cast, race, colour, ethnicity etc.

When someone gives a gift to your kid, don’t use a word cheap for it in any sense at all. Maybe that particular person is not able to afford hefty price tags so you should better be humble and describe the gift as unique which will allow your child to build an attitude of responsibility and care towards others. Mostly kids say it aloud when they don’t like to gift; scold your child for doing so and tell him that this is not the right behaviour. He should know the manners to gracefully and gratuitously accept gifts on events like birthdays etc.

You are supposed to restrict your child from buying everything. You don’t want him to be a spoiled brat who puts a finger and something and that particular item becomes his property. Tell him that he doesn’t need an item like cell phone at the age of eight or nine. It’s none of his use.

Help your child volunteer for good activities for few weeks or a month. It will develop a sense of responsibility in him and he will also spend the spare time in doing something good rather wasting time at internet talking to fake girls and setting up dates for valentine at the age of ten.

Never cover up the mistakes of your child. Tell him it’s wrong so that next time he doesn’t have the courage to repeat them.
