First of all, you have to remove all the hardware that is attached with the shutter panels which you are looking to recycle into a plant stand. It is extremely important for you to wear gloves for protection before working with tools.

After that, you have to arrange all the shutter panels in order to make a pedestal. Take a staple gun and attach all the pieces of the pedestal.

Now, take the saw and cut the plywood into two pieces. Attach one piece to the top of the pedestal and the other to the bottom. Fix both the pieces with the help of glue. You can also drive screws into the pedestal to provide it more strength. However, don’t use too many nails or screws or your stand will look untidy.
