How to Remove an Unwanted Image Background
There are many image editing software programs available, which allow you to edit your pictures and give them completely a new look. You can even remove an unwanted image background using such programs. Instantmask Pro is one of such programs, which you can use to replace a background in an image with the one you prefer.
The program is really easy to use and you do not even have to be a editing expert to do that task. The process of removing an unwanted image background is really easy, provided that you know the basics of the Instantmask Pro software program.

Double click on the Instantmask Pro icon to launch the program. Go to the “File” menu and click “Open” to open the file you want to remove unwanted background from.

On the main bar at the top of the program window, you will see the “Green Marker” icon. Click on it, and use your mouse to mark the foreground object in your photograph. After you are done with marking the foreground, you should click the “Red Marker” and mark the background in the image.

In order to check whether the object and the background are marked well, you will have to click the “Mask” button. The foreground image will completely turn green, while the background will fade out, if you have marked them correctly.

If you feel that the object is not marked well, you can use the markers again and click the “Preview” button, to check if you get the desired results.

You will now be able to select a new background for your picture. Here, you can whether choose a solid colour background, or you can also use any other image as your picture’s background. If you select a picture to use it as your background, then you should scale your foreground object and the background as per your needs. Here, you should always try to use a picture that should complement with the object in the image, and colour schemes of both the images should also match with each other.

Once you are done with removing an unwanted image background and replacing it with a new one, you can save the edited image by going to the “File” menu and select “Save As”. Specify a location and click the “Save” button, to create a new copy of the image.
