How to Remove Google talk from Windows Startup
Google talk is chat software which is simple and sophisticated and is used and enjoyed by many people. Its instant messaging service includes text as well as voice chat. Video plugins for Google talk are now also available to let its users enjoy video chatting as well. Despite the useful services which Google talk provides to its customers, its automatic launch at startup which comes by default might be undesirable for some people.

Launch Google talk from start menu or simply by double clicking on its desktop shortcut.

Now click on ‘Settings’ and click on ‘General’ tab from left panel menu.

Deselect ‘Start automatically when starting windows’ and click ‘Ok’ to save the settings.

To remove Google talk from startup through system configuration.
Click on the ‘Start’ button at bottom left corner of the task bar.

Click ‘Run’ and then type ‘msconfig’. A system configuration window will appear on your screen.

Click on ‘startup’ tab from the top panel and uncheck ‘Google Talk’.

Click ‘ok’ and then restart your computer to apply changes. Google talk will no longer be launched automatically when windows is tstarted.
