Use bleach if dealing with mildew or mold

In case you are dealing with mold or mildew stains, you need to make a chlorine solution. In order to make the solution, you need to get a large bucket of water and add chlorine to it in equal parts. Then, pour the chlorine solution into the garden sprayer. Wet a portion of the wall with a garden hose and then spray the chlorine solution over it.

Leave the wall for few minutes so the chlorine bleach solution has time to react. However, do not leave it on for long; wash a small part in order to see whether the stain is removed or not. For stubborn stains, you can always scrub the area.

Use acid solution for rust or mortar stains

Get an acid based masonry detergent or muriatic acid from your local hardware store, home improvement store, or building supply store. Next, get a bucket and fill it up 2/3 of the way with water. Fill the remaining part with acid, but be careful as you do not want to spill the acid. Then, wet a portion of the wall and brush the solution onto it.

Leave the solution on for almost 10 to 15 minutes, and make sure the wall does not dry. After the acid solution has reacted, wash the wall with water.
