Leaving a positive image on your assistants is very important especially when it comes to a volunteer meeting. You must know that your volunteers get disappointed if the meeting does not go well. When your volunteers stop taking interest in your agenda, it becomes impossible to achieve the targets.

    Start your meeting on time:

    First and the most important thing you should do is to start your meeting right on time. It looks really unprofessional that people are waiting for you to come and preside the sitting. Similarly, if you want them to show up on time then you will have to be there well before them otherwise no one will take you seriously. Moreover, you should not wait for anybody as it gives the impression that you do not value other member’s presence in the meeting. Inform all the guests about the exact time and then start your meeting without any delay.

    If you want them to show up on every volunteer meeting then inform them well before time. This is important to convince them to spare some time from their routines. Persuade your volunteers by inviting them respectfully. Telling them the importance of meeting is not enough as you will have to prove that.
