College Books
If you are a college student, you can make use of books from the library instead of purchasing one. Generally you can get a book issued for fifteen days and renew it for the same period twice. If you are studying in a session rather than a semester, forty five days are more than enough to complete the course. Instead of buying the books that you will later sell dirt cheap, it is best to get one from the library. In case of a semester, you can seek the help of your family in getting the book reissued with their IDs or from a different library. -

Books in General
If you love to read, you can save money by not buying books instead reading them at a library or getting them issued and reading them at home. This is a great idea since books can cost you several hundred dollars each month and by getting them from a library that will generally have all the books you need, you can do your pocket a favour. -
3
Movies
Instead of renting movies, you can get them issued from a library. Each public library generally has a section of movies and although you may not get the latest DVD releases available, you can always find some decent movies to watch. Getting these for free, it is certainly not a bad bargain. You can even watch them in the library if there is no real rush. -

Internet
If you are not someone who needs to check his or her email on a daily basis and does not need the internet a lot in general, you can save money by simple not having a connection at home and save several hundred dollars a year by using the internet in the library.
