1
Purchase an acrylic album
First of all, buy a scrapbook acrylic album to fit the amount of pictures you want to fit in. Know that majority of the photos are smaller than the normal 12 inch by 12 inch size. Moreover, they also generally have metal ring bindings that let you to expand if you want. Accumulate all of your pictures for the project before you begin. Planning is important when making acrylic albums as you will require understanding what elements will show on the front and back of the page to avoid the items from appearing through. As a result of this, organize your pictures to select which will show on what page. -
2
Select paper for scrapbook
Get coordinating patterned and cardstock paper to use for the scrapbook in order to have a good and unique look. Double sided patterned paper can perform double actions by displaying on both sides of the acrylic page. After that, design the layout, attaching the pictures and paper with adhesive spray or liquid glue made to help things stick with some residue appearing through the clear page. You also have the option to use double sided tape if you want to cover that area on the other side of the page. -
3
Make the layout
Remember to create the layout on the other side, copying items so that you cannot see the backsides of the pictures and materials on the previous page. If accents such as paper, buttons, flowers or chipboard shapes are visible, they can add a touch of depth to all sides. Make sure you add journaling to a piece of cardstock or straight on the acrylic page with the help of letter stamps or special marker and solvent ink.
