Your next step will be to become a contributor. For that, look for the upload link, which will direct you to the Contributor Application page. Select on ‘Image’ and then click Apply Now.

Read the application form carefully, including the Stock Photographer Training Manual. It will help you better understand the istock ideology and what they generally deem as an acceptable photo. Other areas of assessment include quality, description and appropriate keywords.

‘Continue to Application’ will be your next step. Here you will need to take and pass a Photographer Application Quiz. If you fail to do it, then don’t panic as the correct answers will be revealed to you. Begin the application process again and make sure you are prepared this time around.
