How to Set Up iTunes Home Sharing on Your iPad 2
Home Sharing is one of the free services in iTunes. It allows you to steam, music, videos and other personal information to devices that run on iOS 4.3 or later using iTunes. It is one of the most-sought features in the app market these days when it comes to iPad 2 but the problem is that you need to install this feature on your iPad by yourself. And there are certain things you need to keep in mind in order to setup Home Sharing in iTunes if you want to avoid any hiccups.

There are several things you that you must have in order to set up iTunes Home Sharing on your iPad 2. You must have a computer that has iTunes 10.2 installed on it. You also need a wireless internet connection and your iPad running on iOS 4.3 or later.

Open up iTunes 10.2 on your computer and by clicking on the Edit tab, open your iTunes preferences.

You will see “Share my library on my local network" checkbox in the sharing panel of your preferences. Click on it to decide which folders you want to share and which folders you do not want to share using Home Sharing in iTunes.

Close the iTunes preference dialog box after selecting the folders you are planning to steam over your wireless network. Go to the advanced menu option and select "Turn on Home Sharing". It will stream your iOS 4.3 from your iTunes Library.

Now, iTunes is all set to steam to your iPad 2. Turn your iPad 2 on and open the settings of your iPad. If you want to change you iPod’s settings, open your iPad setting app and select iPod.

Now, iTunes is all set to steam to your iPad 2. Turn your iPad 2 on and open the settings of your iPad. If you want to change you iPod’s settings, open your iPad setting app and select iPod.

After you have completed all above mentioned steps, all you need to do is to open your iPod app. Once opened, select your Library located in the right pane of your iPod app if you want to shift between your Shared Libraries and your iPad’s music.
