How to Show or Hide Palettes in Adobe Photoshop

Adobe Photoshop is one of the most widely used photo editing software. It also helps to create different graphic designs and web pages. Almost all the graphic designers, photographers and web developers use this software. There are many versions of the software and it will be better for you to use the latest one in order to avail all the new and amazing features.

It is not very difficult to show or hide palettes in Adobe Photoshop. All you need is a little time to learn the basic procedure to do it.

    First of all, you have to open Photoshop on your computer. You can easily open it by double clicking its icon on the desktop. But, if you have not created any kind of shortcut while installing the software, you will have to search for it in the list of programmes by going to the start menu.

    There are many different palettes which you can use according to your requirement. If you want to show or hide the options palette on your screen, you will have to press enter or return on your keyboard. You must know that this shortcut only works for V5.x. You can also double click tool button so as to show or hide the options palette.

    If you are looking forward to show or hide the brushes palette, you will have to press F5 key on your key board. The brushes palette helps you to use the brush in all specifications.

    On the other hand, if you want to use colour palette, you will have to press F6 on your keyboard. The colour palette will allow you to set any colour combination from the options. In addition, you can also use customised colours as per your requirements.

    You can access the layers palette by pressing F7 on your keyboard. The layers palette will help you in editing your pictures in layers. In this way, you will be able to keep the original picture. Moreover, you can also see the difference between original and changed images.

    If you want to show or hide the info palette, you will have to press F8 key. Furthermore, you can access the actions palette by pressing F9.
