How to Sing Campfire Songs
When you are camping along with your family and friends, there are many activities that can make all of you sit together and enjoy this feel of togetherness. It can be anything like playing games, having nice conversation, sightseeing etc.
However, the most memorable experience can be group singing while sitting around fire in the evening. The best thing about this experience is that you can engage everyone by encouraging them for singing. One do not need to have great vocals to participate.
Though, it’s a simple activity which does not require any special arrangements but a few tips can make your next campfire singing venture extra special.

Make sure everyone is present:
The basic purpose of campfire singing is to relax after a whole day of adventures. However, it makes sense only when everyone is present in the sitting. You should gather every member of your party and ask them to sit around the fire. Keep this sitting casual. They can sit anywhere on rocks, grass, chairs etc. -

Ask everyone for the favourite songs:
Next thing you should do is to determine their likes and dislikes. As you are the moderator or main singer so you must ensure the maximum participation. Pick a song that has been requested by them. -

Assign responsibilities:
To make your campfire singing more enjoyable, assign each person an instrument. Normally, guitar, bongos, harmonica are required in these kind of sittings. If you do not have proper musical instruments then you can make your own. Ask your companions to give the beat with keys, empty bottles twigs etc. -

Make sure everyone knows the lyrics:
Before starting a song, make sure that every member of the group knows the lyrics and ready to participate. If some of them do not know then you can write the lyrics on paper and ask them to sing. It is better to select few songs in advance and get their lyrics on papers. -

Start singing:
Now, when everyone is prepared for campfire singing, you should be the lead singer and start the session. You can make it more interesting by asking one person to sing one verse of the song and assign the next verse to other person. -

Start with romantic songs:
You should gradually increase the intensity so it is better to start with romantic songs. Normally, romantic songs have low scales and everyone can easily sing these songs.
