    Rinse water

Before you add four cups of water, you will have to wash the rice properly by rinsing it. Repeat this process for a few times until you feel that the rice is clean.

    Add ingredients in rice

Before putting the rice inside the cooker, you can put all of the desired ingredients inside the pot. Sprinkle some salt, spices and butter if you like at this stage. Even if you wish to add some vegetables, you can combine them with the rice at this point.

    Place pot inside cooker

Once you have added your desired ingredients, place the rice pot inside the cooker and shut the lid from the top. Now, plug the cooker in any socket and switch it on. It will function just like a toaster and you will know when the rice is cooked. Remember not to open the lid of the cooker until you get to know that the cooking is complete. Although you can take the spicy rice out as soon as it is prepared, it is ideal to leave it there for about 10 minutes.
