How to Stay Healthy as a Trucker
It doesn’t matter which type of work you do and what sort of job you perform, staying physically fit and healthy is essential for every one of us to enjoy a happy life. Many jobs do not involve any sort of physical workout and the person performing it has to sit in his chair all day long. This immobility gathers up fat on your body, making you overweight and clumsy. If you are a trucker, you might experience the similar problem. Becoming bulky might even cause you problems to fit behind the driving wheel of your truck!

You have to take good food to eat, clean air to breathe, warm bed to sleep and little things to make you delighted. Smoking is hazardous to your health and you should always refrain from it.

Eat sensibly and do not make a habit of eating fast food all the times. Realise that you can take some tasty nutritious food along with you in your truck cab and there is absolutely no need to spend your bucks on buying fast food containing huge amounts of fats, grease, trans fats and preservatives. Pull over your truck for 20 minutes and eat your own home-cooked healthy food.

You can even put a small refrigerator and a mini-oven within your truck, so you can enjoy eating and drinking your food. You can save the food in that small refrigerator while travelling and can eat it whenever you feel hungry.

You can keep cans of smoked oysters, canned spaghetti, graham crackers, some fish for adding into your soup, soda, coffee and any other of your favourite edible item in your truck’s refrigerator. Eating healthy diet is the key to remain fit and you have to follow by this rule.

You can go for a short walk after having your meal. Breathe deeply and stretch all over when you are out of your truck.

You can also take some multi-vitamin tablets everyday to revitalise your body strength. Try to drink lots of water instead of soda.
