How to Steam Your Face at Home
Steaming your face regularly brings shine and freshness to your skin. You do not need to go to a beauty salon to get the required treatment. This treatment can be performed at home in a matter of 15 minutes. You just need to boil some water in a pot, pour it in a large bowl and get the steam from the hot water.
However, you should be careful that the water is not too hot otherwise the skin can be damaged. This is a natural way to cleanse the skin and is very easy to carry out at home.

1
Wash your face
First of all, wash your face with a nice cleanser. Make sure you do this calmly as rubbing the skin heavily can cause irritation. Apply the cleanser in circular motion so that it is applied to every part of your face. Rinse the face and dry with the help of a towel. -
2
Boil water in a pot and pour it in a large bowl
To steam your face, you will need to boil water in a medium-size pot. The water should be sufficient enough to fill more than half of a large bowl. When the water boils, pour the water from the pot to a large bowl. Leave it for at least five minutes so that it cools down a bit. -
3
Lean over the bowl and steam your face
After letting the water cool down for about five minutes, lean over the bowl and keep your face just above the bowl so that you can directly get the steam. To make sure that the steam does not escape, it is important that you drape a small towel over your head and shoulders. The towel will keep the steam from escaping which will give your skin great treatment. -
4
Wash your face with fresh water
You have to remain in this position for at least 5-10 minutes so that the face gets the steam consistently. Stop after the required time and rinse your face with fresh running water. This will not cause the sweat to remain in the pores, which are open when you stem your face. Do not use the towel to dry your skin after steam as that could cause irritation and redness.
