How to Sync Your IPhone to a Different Apple Account
When you connect your iPhone to your computer, Apple iTunes automatically syncs the device with the Apple App Store account that you last used. However, if you wish to sync your phone with a different account, you can do that as well by changing the account settings in iTunes.

The first thing you need to do is to launch the Apple iTunes programme, the icon for which will be typically located on the desktop of your computer. However, if you do not see it there, then click the “Start” menu button located in the bottom-left corner of the screen and then move the cursor to “All Programmes.” A new menu will pop up. Search for Apple iTunes in there and then click it to launch the programme.

Locate “Store” in the main navigation menu of Apple iTunes and then locate the “Sign Out” button on the context menu. You will have to do this to log out of your previous Apple account.

Once you have successfully logged out of your Apple Account, click “Store” in the main navigation menu again and this time search for the “Sign In” button in the context menu. You will not have any trouble spotting it after spotting the “Sign Out” button in the previous step. Alternatively, you can create a new Apple Account by selecting “Create New Account” from the context menu. You will be required to prove your personal details, contact information and choose a valid payment method, which is required if you intend to purchase and download content from the iTunes Store.

Once you have successfully signed into or created an alternative Apple Account, connect your iPhone to the computer using a Universal Serial Bus (USB) cable that came with your phone. Make sure that the iPhone is switched on. If the battery on your phone is running low, there is nothing to worry about as the battery will begin to recharge while the phone is connect to the computer.

Wait a seconds for the computer and iTunes to detect your iPhone. Once it detects the iPhone, an icon of the Phone will be display in the “Devices” section on the left-hand menu.

Once iTunes displays the phone icon, start the syncing process by clicking the “Sync” button located at the bottom of the main page. It may take a while for iTunes to finish syncing your iPhone with the new or alternative iTunes account of yours.
