How to Take the IELTS
IELTS stands for International English Language Testing System. It is an English language test taken by many students around the world and the main purpose is to check the person’s English language skills. The test basically checks the writing, listening, speaking and reading capability of a person and is a very reliable measure used by many Universities and Immigration offices around the globe.
IELTS is mostly required in countries like UK and Australia. However, in recent times many Universities in United States and Canada have preferred the test over the TOEFL.

Determine which test you want to take
There are two different forms of the IELTS test. One is the Academic Module whereas the other one is the General Training Module. The Academic Module is useful for students who are willing to study in a University where the language of instruction is English.
On the other hand, the General Module is appropriate for people who are willing to apply for resident visas or Immigration to UK or Australia.
