    Golden Hours

Try to take the pictures in what many photographers describe as the golden hours which are around dawn and dusk. Keep in view that the light conditions which are changing by the minute in these times provide some excellent shots. Make sure that you are ready for clicking your camera when the light conditions make the perfect shot. It should not mean, however, that you do not take pictures during the day as well.

    Involve the Sky

A plain sky may not be your dream idea of a grand background but if there is some dark clouds, a rainbow or a bright shining sun, you can add the sky as the main part of the landscape. This can add a lot of beauty to your landscape photo and make it look grand.

    Deep Pictures

Try to take pictures that go deep. The landscape when shallow rarely looks that good so make sure that you have a lot of space. This can be easily done by keeping the aperture settings low.

    Focal Point

Having the proper focal point in a landscape is a must. It is something that will hold the picture together and the other elements will gather around it for support.
