First of all, make a wise strategy. You are supposed to keep things as simple as possible. There is no need to put on any extra makeup to spoil your looks. There are chances that you will not be required to apply makeup to entire face. Identify the areas that need some touching.

Use a clean cotton swab to get rid of the flakes of your eye makeup. Do it very gently, as any force could make things even problematic. Take care of the running eyeliner or bleeding lipstick. If there is any creased concealer or foundation, gently blend it away.

  • 3

It is always better to remove all the lipstick, because applying lipstick is pretty easy. Use a wet tissue to remove the remaining lip colour.

  • 4

If you have any shiny areas on your face, take another tissue paper and try to absorb the excess oil. Re-power your face, if required. The aim is to even out complexion. So, if re-powering is not required, you can skip this step.

It is the time to work on your cheeks. All you need to do is sweeping a hint of blush up. It should be done very carefully. Begin from your cheek’s apple, and slowly move towards the hairline. Only a few quick strokes are needed.

  • 6

The final step is applying a little amount of lip balm for moisture. Before applying lipstick, don’t forget to use a lip liner. This will help you make your makeup look fresh. Take an appropriate shade, and colour your lips nicely.

Having finished with the touching up, watch yourself closely in the mirror and see if anything else is needed.
