While having an elbow tendonitis, you should always wear an elbow brace or arm brace in order to support the tendon which will help in the healing process. However, make sure you wear the brace below the elbow because this is the part where the muscle connects to the joint.

You should use ibuprofen or aspirin which will work as anti inflammatory treatment and will help in reducing the inflammation from the elbow. If you are feeling severe pain then taking this medication will help in controlling the pain as well.
