How to Update Security Question and Answer in cPanel
For security purposes, security questions are set so that your cPanel account remains safe. These questions are set from WHM which is available for Reseller hosting, VPS and dedicated server holders only. If you are on shared hosting, you won’t find any option for managing security questions. When from WHM, ‘Limited Login from Verified IP Adresses’ option is selected, it means if you try to access your cPanel from an unverified IP address, you will be required to answer the security question.
To update and manage your security questions and answers for cPanel, follow this quick guide.

First of all, access your cPanel and look for WHM or alternatively, login to WHM directly from http://IP:2087.

Now in WHM, look for Security Center and then find 'Security Questions'.

Click on the option Edit Questions and Answers.
After selecting each question type an answer in the space given beneath each question. -

According to your choice, one by one select four security questions; this can be done by using the pull down menu present on the right side of the “Please Select Question” bar.

After selecting questions and defining your answers hit the continue button. Make sure that you note down the questions and answers and keep it somewhere safe. You will need these in case you have to login for some issues.

If you wish to reset your security questions then after editing click the Reset Security Questions button.
