    Assess the size of the repair

    First of all, you have to assess the size of the repair. It is extremely important for you to take the necessary measurements accurately. You will never be able to fix your boat properly until or unless your measurements correctly. Besides, you should also assess the areas which need to be repaired.

    Prepare Epoxy Material

    After assessing the areas and size of each one of them, you must prepare the epoxy material. Don’t use anything in access and just follow the instructions which have been mentioned on the epoxy pack. Always remember that you will not be able to repair properly if you have not mixed up the right quantity of all the materials. Before preparing the epoxy material, you must wear the gloves and mask so as to keep yourself safe from any harm.

    Apply Epoxy Material

    Clean the area properly. Epoxy material will not work, if the area is dirty or wet. Therefore, you must clean and dry it before applying the epoxy. In addition, you should know that if the repair area is big, you must take a stick to apply the epoxy material to it. On the other hand, if the area is small, you can use a toothpick or any other small stick. Apply the material and spread it on the repair area. Don’t apply the material at once as it will stick to one place. Just apply it gently and gradually.

    Cleanup excess Epoxy

    After applying the epoxy material, press and hold the area of repair for few minutes so as to fix it. If there is any excess epoxy left on the area, you can easily remove it with the help of paint thinner or epoxy remover.
