One can easily insert flicker photos in websites with easy to go plug-ins, for example you can insert photos from flicker directly to a word press blog or website by the click of a button.
However, there is one drawback, Flickr does not offers promotion or sale of photographs. Keep that in mind when you are uploading photos or writing their descriptions.

1
Decide on a good screen name, as it is displayed every time people browse through other member accounts. Similarly when someone browses through different groups and communities, your albums and individual photos are placed under the banner of your screen name. A screen name gives people an idea what do you for a living, are you an amateur photographer, or a professional photographer. General practice is to select the name of your website, blog, or your professional alias as a photographer as the username. If you find it two straight forward and want to keep it formal, create a screen name based on your first and last names. Do not come up with alias that may result in negative feedback later on.
-
2
Make a Flickr website address. Keep it short as long addresses make it difficult for users to browse and share it with their friends or colleagues. Most people have identical webpage address as their screen name as it helps promote your company.
-
3
Decide on a buddy icon. The icon will be displayed along with your screen name every time someone searches for member on Flickr. Your icon should be the logo of your company, or your own picture, or one of your best works. Do not post photos of people or models as it will hamper your image.
-
4
Time to work on your Flickr profile. Write a brief speech about you and your work, and tailor it to attract your target audience online. If you shoot celebrities and models, you may want to emphasize this in your profile. Remember to include your company’s name and web address in the profile or it will look unprofessional.
