How to Use Left Over French Fries

French fries right out of the fryer or the oven are a treat for anyone; we just cannot stop munching on them. They can be eaten on their own, with burgers, hot dogs, fish and so much more. It is difficult to decide what to do with them if by any chance you have some left, you cannot let them go to waste. They get very soggy after some time and you end up throwing them. The easiest solution is to re-bake them in a toaster oven. This way they will get crunchy and become tasty like before. They can even be re-fried and can be eaten again. There are various other options like tossing them with bacon bits, using them in salads or eggs. We will tell you how to make a frittata out of the left over French fries. Ingredients:
French Fries: A handful or two
Onion: 1/2 diced
Celery, chopped: 1 stalk
Carrot, chopped: 1 large
Red Pepper, chopped: 1/2
Jalapenos diced: 1 tbsp
Ham: thin small slices
Eggs: 2
Cheese: 1/2 cup

    Take an oven safe frying pan and grease it with oil, put it on medium high heat. Add the chopped celery, carrot and onions to the pan and cook for five minutes, stir them often in between. Add the ham, jalapenos and cook for five more minutes on medium heat. The fries will be properly cooked by this time.

    In a mixing bowl, whisk an egg and add the cheese, mix them together. Pour this egg mixture over the fries in the frying pan and let it sit on the hot pan until the egg starts to cook from the edges.

    Turn on your oven at this point and set it to broiler settings. Put the frying pan inside the oven and let it broil until the top of the frittata has become solid and cooked through. Remove the frittata from the oven and put it on a plate. Serve it warm with ketchup or any favourite dip on the side.
