  Before you begin applying the formula, you will need to make sure your hair is completely clean. If it has been more than a day since you washed your hair, do a quick shampoo and rinse, and then towel your hair dry. In order to apply the formula, you will need to start with clean, damp hair.

  Now, unscrew the lid off the pot of formula, and dip in the tips of your fingers. Scoop a small amount of formula out of the pot, and apply this to your hair, running your fingers through the strands and moving from root to tip. Using a massaging motion, you will also need to rub the formula into your scalp.

  Once you have applied it with your fingers, run a wide-tooth comb through your hair, to make sure you distribute the formula through your hair evenly. This is essential, in order to make sure it doesn’t all just clump in one place.

  After the formula has been applied and distributed through your hair properly, proceed to put on a shower cap. If you do not own one, you can always wrap your head up in cling film. You will now need to leave the formula on; the minimum amount of time for this is 3 minutes, while the maximum is 20 – do not leave it on your hair beyond this time limit.

  Now that you have allowed it to stay on and given it ample time to nourish your hair, rinse it out as you would a hair conditioner. Make sure you use cool water for the rinsing process, and run your fingers through your hair, to dislodge the formula, and make it easier for it to wash out of your hair. Be thorough with the rinsing, and make sure that there is no residue left – if you wish, you can also shampoo it off. Finish by towelling your hair dry.
