This makes it possible to move entire elements and repair skin in a photograph. Graphic designers and software engineers across the world rarely use cloning tools, as the Patch Tool is much more effective. Before doing anything else you will need to make sure that you have Adobe Photoshop installed onto your computer. For downloading the latest version of Photoshop, simply navigate to the official website and download it from the product and services section. Be sure to get the latest version that has all the options and features.

Find the Patch Tool in Photoshop’s main menu. Click and hold the brush icon and then move down to the patch tool option. It is recommended to use this feature the same way you would use the lasso tool. Load the picture from your computer and select an area on the image which you would like to edit.

Next, select the Destination option at the top of the screen and move it to another area. Move the pixels up or down according to your destination. Performing this task will enable you to see the selection moving under your mouse pointer.

Find the Source button and move the selection to the area where you would like the pixel to mix with the original selection. Enable the source mode to Blend pixels from anywhere on the picture to your selected area.

Activation of source mode will allow you to add more pixels as many times as you like, saving you some valuable time. This technique will also help you to be highly critical of your original highlighted selection.

If you are dealing with a complex selection, consider using Photoshop’s regular lasso tool to select an item. Transfer the pixels using the Patch Tool once your selection is complete. This action will let your blend or move complicated selections.
