How to Wear Camouflage

You must have seen numerous movies and dramas in which the soldiers are wearing camouflage while fighting their enemies. This happens in reality as you have to hide yourself from the enemy, so that you don’t become an easy target.

However, wearing camouflage face paint is not an easy task at all, especially if you don’t have the knowledge. You have to take care about a lot of things and then go out in a fight. Even the smallest of mistakes can prove costly, as you can be spotted easily by the enemy.

In order to wear the perfect camouflage, you have to ensure that you have got all the necessary equipment.

Things Required:

– Mirror
– Waterproof camouflage face paint (green, brown, black)
– Clothes (green, brown, black)

Instructions

  • 1

    Wash your face

Make sure you have washed your face properly before applying anything onto it. Moreover, use a towel to dry your skin completely, so that the face paint can be applied easily and it doesn’t go off.

  • 2

Apply thin brown layer on your face

You have to start off with the brown colour by applying it to all of the exposed areas of your face. People with brown complexion should also follow this step, as it is absolutely necessary otherwise you will be unable to make a good base. No matter what colour of your skin is, you have to hide the shininess of it, so that it looks like mud or dirt. Other than your face, you have to apply the brown paint to your neck, ears and rub it onto your hands as well.

  • 3

    Apply green paint

Once the brown paint dries out, start applying the green one. Do not use a brush to apply the colours, as you have to make things look rough. Put the paint on your fingers and start applying in different patterns, so that the shape of your face breaks up.

  • 4

    Apply black paint

Although your face will be pretty much camouflaged after applying the above two paints, you have to give the finishing touch by putting on black paint to the base, which will be visible on your face. However, don’t focus much on your nose or eyes, while applying this paint.

    Put on similar coloured clothes

You can now put on your clothes and see inside the mirror whether you look properly camouflaged or not. You can find many different types of camouflaged clothing at different thrift stores as they have army surplus. The paint and clothing together will ensure that you are fully camouflaged.
