Identity and Passport Service London

The Identity and Passport Service (IPS) is a decision-making agency of the Home Office that works for the government of United Kingdom. This service started its operations in April 2006, overtaking from the former United Kingdom Passport Agency, after the Identity Cards Act 2006 was passed. The main responsibility of Identity and Passport Service (IPS) is to issue passports to the British nationals, plus life event certifications like birth, marriage, death and civil partnerships. The headquarter of IPS can be found in the British capital, and there are seven regional offices of this executive agency in other cities of the United Kingdom as well.

    How to Get to Identity and Passport Service:

    By Tube

    Victoria tube station is located at a distance of 0.3 miles from the Identity and Passport Service office. This journey can be covered on foot in about 7 minutes if the passengers of Victoria tube station head out in the southwest direction on Wilton Road/A202 towards Terminus Pl and continue to follow Wilton Road. Then turn right onto Gillingham Street that will lead them to a left turn onto Eccleston Square/A3213, from where the destination can be seen on the left. View Map

    By Bus

    Bus number 24 will take the visitors to the nearest bus stop to Identity and Passport Service office. This bus stop is called Warwick Way (Stop T) and is roughly 0.1 mile away from IPS. Visitors can get to IPS from this bus stop on foot in about 3 minutes if they walk in the northwest direction on Wilton Road towards Gillingham Street and then, turn left onto Gillingham Street. This will lead them to a left turn onto Eccleston Square/A3213 from where the destination is not too far.
