Italian Summer Salad Recipe
Italian Summer Salad is a terrifically refreshing salad that is perfect to be dished up throughout the summer season. You can hand it out as a side dish or a welcome side dish at lunch, buffet supper or barbeque. The superb thing about this Italian Summer Salad Recipe is that all of its ingredients are easily available and mixing them is a matter of few minutes.

Utensils needed: saucepan, stove, refrigerator, serving bowl, sieve or colander, fork and spoon
Ingredients:
– 16 oz. uncooked Farfalle pasta
– 1/3 cup olive oil
– 1 ½ cups tomatoes – finely diced
– ¾ cup black olives – nicely chopped
– 1 cup fresh spinach leaves
– ¼ cup cheese – Romano cheese is preferred
– ¼ teaspoon salt
– ¼ teaspoon black pepper
– ¼ teaspoon garlic powder

Cook the pasta
Take a medium sauce pan and pour in some water. Set the heat of your stove to medium range and place the saucepan on it. Wait until the water starts boiling and add in the uncooked Farfalle pasta. Now, cook the pasta right according to the directions given on the packet. -

Drain and rinse the cooked pasta
Once pasta is cooked well, remove the saucepan from heat and drain them with a large sieve or colander. Rinse under cold running water for few seconds until cool and set aside to chill. -

Add in the remaining ingredients
Top the cooked pasta with1/3 cup of olive oil, 1 ½ cups of finely diced tomatoes, ¾ cup of nicely chopped black olives and 1 cup of fresh spinach leaves, and ¼ cup cheese. -

Season the ingredients
Season the pasta mixture with ¼ teaspoon of salt, ¼ teaspoon black pepper and ¼ teaspoon garlic powder. -

Toss the ingredients
Take a large fork and toss the ingredients until coated well and the salt dissolves thoroughly. -

Chill the salad until serving
Wrap the Italian Summer Salad with a plastic wrapping sheet and place in refrigerator until serving.
