Leyton Tube Station London

Leyton tube station, that is located at the end of the Leyton High Street in Leyton, will go through an up gradation process in the coming months. This is because it serves Leyton Orient F.C. stadium – which is a part of London Olympics 2012 venue list. Therefore, authorities have decided to double the capacity of this tube station so it is able to cope with the additional number of commuters during the upcoming Olympics season. Currently Leyton High Road is the course for entrance and exit, but a new exit passage will be constructed in the reconstruction process, which will lead commuters to Gooddall Road. Leyton tube station, which received its current name in 1868, has facilities like gates, ticket halls, toilets, pay phones and waiting rooms. Needless to mention, the number of facilities will definitely see a remarkable improvment at the end of the restoration work. Places to explore near Leyton Tube Station.
