LG Optimus 4x HD Product Review

LG Optimus 4X is LG’s first product which is packed with a quad-core world. The phone is powered by Nvidia Tegra 3 processor and comes with a 4.7 inch high definition display. It is currently obtainable in Europe and will come to Asia, South and Central America, and Russia very soon. Up till now, the company hasn’t announced any North American availability for the 4X HD. The success rate of LG Smartphones isn’t that good in the United States, but this model is expected to grab a huge share of market in the country.

The Optimus 4X is super slim at 0.38 inches, sleek with a sophisticated design and a shiny look, along with a textured battery cover. The phone with white color is much more attractive than the black version. On the left side of the phone, there is a volume rocker and a 3.5mm headphone jack is located on the upper side along with a sleep/power button. The Micro–Usb port can be seen at the bottom. The phone is ideal for gaming, video-watching, and casual web browsing.

As mentioned above, the Optimus 4X is equipped with quad-core and Nividia’s Tegra 3 processor. The processor consists of a smaller fifth core to increase battery life of the phone. People find it more advanced and refined as compared to Samsung’s Galaxy S III and HTC EVO 4G LTE. Games that demand high graphics run very smoothly on the Optimus 4X because of inclusion of high speed processor.

Optimus 4X HD consists of Android Ice Cream Sandwich operating system. The company runs its own user interface known as Optimus UI 3.0. It also has a feature of QuickMemo which allows users to take notes with their finger. The phone has a built-in NFC (near-field communication) feature to enable users to make mobile payments online. With the help of Android Beam, you can transfer images, contacts, Web pages and much more.

The Optimus 4X HD comes with 8 megapixel backside-illuminated camera. It takes superior quality photos both indoors and outdoors. The camera is comparable with HTC One X and the Samsung Galaxy S III.

In short, LG optimus 4X HD exhibits the power of a quad-core processor, which is extremely good for high-end gaming purpose. The stunning display of the phone must be acknowledged and the latest available version of Android to boot. In general, the phone has what it takes to compete with other top-of-the-line Android phones.
