History
The London children film festival was launched in November 2005 for the first time in collaboration with Barbican. The most attractive aspect of the festival is the inclusion of international documentaries on different topics that vary from energy crises, to the impact of globalization. -

Activities
The festival continues for two weeks and within this period, children and families from all over the world relish in fun and informative films, as well as other exciting events. The festival presents a high quality contemporary international cinema that encompasses originality and creativity to entertain children and families. The children not only watch films and take part in workshops, but they can also present their own films and talk to the press. Through this process, young consultants and jurors can develop their critical skills and involve themselves in the film making process. -
