London Resilience Authority

UK Resilience – the name says it all. This branch of the Cabinet Office aims to improve UK’s preparedness against any untoward situation, including emergencies. These can include epidemics, natural catastrophes or infrastructural emergencies. UK Resilience also spearheads better emergency relief and recovery practices so people can feel secure and confident while going about their businesses of everyday life.

From spreading awareness about these emergency preparedness through newsletters and other mediums, to furnishing guidelines to improve risk management, UK Resilience is working towards a better, more stable UK for individuals as well as businesses.

    How to Get to Enterprise and Business Support:

    By Tube

    The Charing Cross tube is about 469 ft away from the workplace of UK Resilience so it would not be a problem for the commuter of this London Underground station to cover this gap on foot. This journey on foot will take about 2 minutes if a commuter heads northwest on Northumberland Avenue/A400 then, at the roundabout take the second exit onto Whitehall/A3212 to find this office in front of him or her.     Bus stop, St James', Whitehall Trafalgar Square (Stop N) is located just in front of the UK Resilience office. All bus users need to do after arriving at this bus stop is to head east on Whitehall/A3212 and he or she will find the UK Resilience office. These are the bus numbers 11, 24, 87, 88, N2, N11, N44, N52, N87, N136, 91, N5, N18, N20, N91, N97 and N343 that stop at St James', Whitehall Trafalgar Square (Stop N).
