Water: 1/2 cup
Vinegar: 1/3 cup
Brown sugar: 3 tablespoons
Vegetable oil, divided: 3 tablespoons
Soy sauce: 1 tablespoon
Chicken bouillon cubes: 2
Mayonnaise: 1/3 to 1/2 cup
Honey: 2 tablespoons
Lemon juice: 2 tablespoons
Minced parsley: 2 teaspoons
Ground mustard: 2 teaspoons
Dried minced onion: 1/4 teaspoon
Ready-to-serve salad : 1 package (10 ounces)
Torn lettuce: 4 cups
Mandarin oranges, drained: 1 can (11 ounces)
Chow mein noodles: 1 cup
Onion, thinly sliced: 1 green
Sliced almonds: 2 tablespoons

Take a deep skillet and mix together chicken, water, vinegar, brown sugar, 1 tablespoon oil, soy sauce and bouillon. Place it on the burner, and cook for 15-20 minutes. Make sure that the heat is medium. The chicken may take more than 20 minutes to tender. Keep cooking until the liquid is evaporated.

While the chicken is cooking, use your time wisely. For dressing, combine mayonnaise, honey, lemon juice, parsley, mustard, onion, and the remaining oil. Blend it well with force.
