Ingredients;

  • 1 ½ cup of ice
  • 1 1/2 fluid ounces cognac
  • 1 1/2 fluid ounces dry vermouth
  • 2 dashes bitters
  • 1 maraschino cherry, for garnish purposes.

    The first step that needs to be done is filling a cocktail shaker with ice so as to chill the cocktail because cocktails are best served chilled.

    Add dry vermouth and cognac, before shaking in bitter until it is a good mixture.

    Once it has been stirred well, pour the mixture in a chilled glass.

    Garnish with a cherry stuck either around the glass or cut in small pieces and added to the mixture.
