Ingredients;
About 20 fresh mint leaves plus more for the garnishing purpose – this is optional
(2 tablespoon) sugar
(2 to 3 oz) bourbon
Plenty of crushed ice

Wash the fresh mint leaves properly and place them in a Mint Julep cup, cocktail glass, highball glass or similar vessel. Add in 2 tablespoon sugar.

Now, muddle the fresh mint leaves and sugar for one or two minutes until sugar dissolves thoroughly and both of the ingredients come together in a lovely, fragrant mash.

Pour 2 to 3 oz bourbon into the glass and fill it with crushed ice. Stir the mixture until all the ingredients mix well and an icy frost forms on the outside of your glass.
