Mushrif Park Dubai Overview

Covered up amongst rolling sand dunes, the Mushrif Park is located in the Eastern part of Dubai, United Arab Emirates. It is Dubai’s oldest and city’s largest park, spanning 5.25 square kilometer. It is only 5 km drive from Dubai International Airport and about 16 km from the traditional center of Dubai.

Mushrif Park Dubai famously home to 84 species of birds and numerous flower varieties, offers vast green spaces, islands of electric green grass and the extended sand plains with flare of color popping up. This beautiful and calm spot successfully attracts many picnic lovers as it is away from the hustle and bustle of a busy city like Dubai. A visit to Mushrif Park is a best excuse to enjoy the real beauty of nature. Thursday and Friday are the best days to visit this amazing park as these are always the busiest days and entertainment is guaranteed.

    History

    The Mushrif Park Dubai was shaped in early 1980 by Dubai’s Municipality. Steps were taken later on and it was decided to expand the area of the park in order to dedicate a vast space for the general public. As a result, Mushrif Park was immensely lengthened and smartened up in 1989. Previous to the establishment, the total area of this park was house to hundreds of extensively spread trees. Some of the trees were about 15 meters high and more than 50 years old.

    The entry fee to Mushrif Park is AED 10.00 per vehicle.

    How to get to Mushrif Park Dubai

    By Bus

    As there is no closest Metro station to the Mushrif Park Dubai, so, traveling by bus is the best available option for you. The Mushrif Park 2 bus stop is just 2.5 km from the park, which makes it a 31 minutes walking distance. All you have to do is head west on Al Khawaneej Rd/D 89 and then slight left after going through a roundabout. From here onwards it’s a zigzag path where you have to take a sharp left turn, then right turn, and left turn again. Now take another right turn and two consecutive left turns at the end.
