Negroni Cocktail Recipe

Though Negroni cocktail recipe’s origination is unknown, still this exotic drink has earned a lot of fame in the past years and it is still admired among people. Only three ingredients are used in this recipe due to which it is also considered as an aperitif a drink that stimulates the appetite, which is why it is served before meal. Gin, sweet vermouth and bitters help each other to create an amazing magical flavor in this beverage. Through sources it has been known that this fanatical drink was invented at Caffè Cavalli which is in the city of Florence, Italy. The twist in this drink was that instead of adding the normal soda water a customer Camillo Negroni asked the bar tender to add gin to make the flavor stronger, and to make the drink different and distinctive. The bar tender added orange garnishing instead of lemon to make it more different. The procedure along with the ratio of ingredients in this article will help you in preparing this perfect digestifs alcoholic drink.

Ingredients:
0.125 oz sweet vermouth
0.125 oz Campari bitters
0.125 oz gin
Orange slice or twist for garnishing

Instructions

    Take a small jug according to the ratio of ingredients mentioned above and one by one add each ingredient except for the orange which will be used in the end for garnishing.

    Pour sweet vermouth, Campari bitter and gin.

    Stir the added ingredients properly in order to combine the flavors.

    Then take beautiful cocktail glasses. It would be an ideal choice if you use old fashioned glasses and pour the prepared drink equally in each glass.

    Take orange garnish and place it on each glass. Make sure you do not fill the glasses till the top.
