Nursing Resignation Email
The purpose of writing a resignation email is to let the company administration know about your intentions of leaving the organisation due to any specific reason. Nursing resignation email is sent when a nurse resigns from his/her job from any hospital.
The pattern for the email is same as for any other resignation email. At the start, you need to show your intentions of leaving the hospital, followed by the reason of your departure, and the notice period that you will serve in the hospital.
At the end of the email, you can praise the way the hospital administration provided your opportunities for professional growth.

Subject: Resignation from the position of Nurse
Dear Hospital Administrator,
This email is to notify you that I am resigning from Children’s Hospital as a Head Floor Nurse and June 21, 2013 will be my last day of employment.
I have accepted a senior position at another hospital, where I feel I can further progress in my career. Working at the Children’s Hospital has been an inspiring and rewarding experience. The growth and learning opportunities that have come my way at this hospital were invaluable and I am truly grateful.
As per the hospital policy, I am ready to work during my notice period of two weeks and please do let me know I can help you in any specific area during this period.
Yours respectfully,
Helen Smith
