Preparation Time: 5 minutes
Serving Size: Serves 3 persons
Utensils: Cocktail glasses, stirring rod
Ingredients:
– Angostura aromatic bitters, to taste
– 3 sugar cubes
– 372 ml chilled champagne
– Pulp of one large-sized passion fruit
Instructions
-
1
Start preparing your passion fruit champagne cocktail by taking three elegant cocktail glasses. Owing to the ingredients in this drink, long, fluted, and oblong champagne glasses will work best for serving purposes.
-
2
Line all these glasses up in a row on a flat and cleared counter space, and in each glass, add a dash or two of Angostura aromatic bitters, according to your taste.
-
3
Now, place a sugar cube in each glass, and use a stirring rod to swirl this about until all the sugar is well-blended. Make sure there are no granules left, as these could add a grainy texture, and spoil the cocktail entirely.

Next, start pouring in the champagne – use the best quality you can find, as anything cheap or inferior will make for a mediocre drink. Pour until the glasses are almost full, with just an inch and a half of headspace left at the top.

Finally, add in the main ingredient – passion fruit pulp . Use a spoon to scoop this into the glasses, dividing it equally among all of them. Once this is done, your passion fruit champagne cocktail is ready – serve chilled.
