    History

    Piccadilly theatre opened its doors in April 1928 to show all forms of performing arts like cinema, drama and ballet. Later, the theatre was converted into a cabaret restaurant and reopened in 1936 as the London casino. The building was damaged in World War but was reopened with its original name to hold plays, musical and revues and broadcast entertainment. In the 1990’s, the theatre focused more on holding musicals and dance.

If you are planning to purchase the tickets in person, then visit the box office from Monday to Saturday anytime between 10:00 am and 8:00 pm.

    Operational Hours

    Operational hours of the theater depend on the show. The present show, "Ghost the musical," starts every evening from Monday to Saturday from 7.30 pm. However, its matinee time is 2.30 pm and is held only on Thursday and Saturday.

    How to get there

    By Tube

    Piccadilly Circus underground station is the closest tube station separated by 0.1 mile from the Piccadilly Circus tube station. The distance can easily be covered in 2 minutes. After getting off from the tube, head westward on Coventry St. and then make a right turn onto Glasshouse St. Now turn right onto Sherwood St, walk a few steps and again turn right onto Denman St. The Piccadilly theatre will appear on your left side. View Map

    By bus

    The nearest bus stop is “Trocadero Haymarket (Stop H)”. The 400 feet distance can be covered in around 2 minutes. Buses numbering 14, 19, 38, N19 and N38 would drop you at the bus stop. After getting off from the bus at the bus stop, head northward on A401 and then take a left turn onto Denman St. You will spot Piccadilly theatre on your right side. View Map
