McCord Museum of Canadian History
Canada's rich history is the subject of this museum which houses a permanent collection, temporary exhibitions as well as some very nice First Nations artifacts, fascinating photographs for dresses of the 20's and plenty more to capture your imagination in this historic site.
Closed Mondays, admission $ 13, free on Wednesdays from 5pm-9pm.

Museum of Fine Arts in Montreal
It's open to public without any charge to see the much loved permanent exhibition in Montreal des Beaux Arts Museum and the Museum of Fine Arts. The sample was found in two different buildings that are connected by an underground tunnel. Be sure that you pay a visit to the Napoleon room where you can see the hat of the famous ruler.

The docks of Puerto Viejo
It is almost certain that there is always something to do here. The ice skating however is one of the best things that do not cost you a penny, just like walking around the docks and admiring the view. Built on the site where European settlers first put step in the city, these springs are spread over more than 2.5 km.

Parc Jean-Drapeau
This huge park is a short subway ride away from downtown and is situated on two islands, namely, the Île Notre-Dame and Sainte-Hélène Island. It attracts a large number of visitors each year and there are plenty of free activities to enjoy here like cycling, skating and swimming. If you are looking for something a little less active you are most welcome to stroll through the beautiful gardens or take some food and have a picnic in the park.

Mont Royal Park
Hard to miss part of the mountain in the middle of the Montreal Protocol, this park dates back to 1876. Today it is a popular hot spot for runners, walkers and cyclists. It has a couple of great vantage points that provide visitors with a beautiful view of the city. This is also where the cross on top of Mont Royal was erected in (1924).

Vieux / Old Montreal
Vieux or Old Montreal is one of the most popular places to witness among visitors to the city. Strolling through the cobbled streets you'll find plenty of attractions including the spectacular Basilica of Notre Dame. Downtown Montreal
In Downtown Montreal and the Centre Ville the neighborhoods are full of things to see and do i.e. cultural attractions like the Museum of Fine Arts and the ‘’McCord Museum’’ of Canadian History.
