Application Form
Visa Application Forms can be collected from visa section of the Consulate of the Botswana in Ottawa. You can collect application from 9:00 and 12:00. You can also write an application to the Consulate for the Visa application. You will have to send a prepaid, stamped, self-addressed delivery envelope to get your visa application back.

Requirements
Before you apply for the Botswana tourist visit visa, you should fulfil the following requireemtns:
(a) A Valid passport of at least six months validity.
(b) Sufficient funds.
(c) Visa Fee. -

Visa Fee
Visa fee for the tourist visit visa is 107 GBP. Fee should be paid by making a Post Order to the name of the “Consulate of Botswana, Ottawa”.

Check List
Once you fill up your application, before you submit it, you need to confirm the following documents with your application:
a) Completed Application Form,
b) Valid Passport with at least two blank pages,
c) Recent photograph in light colour background,
d) Photocopy of the main pages of passport,
e) Receipts of the fee submission or Postal Order,
f) Copy of the return ticket,
g) Receipts of the hotel booking,
h) Prepaid, self addressed, stamped return envelope. -

Submission of Application
Applications can be submitted in person or by registered postal service. You can submit your application between 9:00 to 13:00 from Monday to Friday. If you want to submit by post, you need to attach the prepaid, self addressed, stamped return envelope.

Applications are processed in only five working days. There might be some delays if you are asked to submit additional information.

Collection of Visa
If you submit your application in person, you should visit the visa section of the Consulate of Botswana in Ottawa, to collect your visa. Your visa will be sent back to you if you select postal service for the submission.

You can take any kind of household articles that can be carried or transported in Airplane. You can take cameras, music players, laptops and other such kind of electronics. You should not take illegal drugs and liquids and weapons, and any kind of thing that has been banned internationally of by the Botswana government.
