Application Form
You can apply for the tourist visit visa of Egypt only after getting registered with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in London. You need to visit the official website of Ministry of Foreign affairs to apply for the visit visa. Requirements
Following requirements have been set by the Arab Republic of Egypt's Embassy on tourist visit visa applicants.
(a) Fill in the visa application form. Print it and sign.
(b) Passport that should be valid for at least one month after your plan for departure from Egypt. Your passport should have at least two blank visa pages.
(c) Two recent photographs with a white background.
(d) Citizens of some countries should have previous permits to be able to get the required tourist visa.
(e) Remember the permission procedure takes 15 days and your visa application procedure will begin only after the permission has been granted. Therefore nationals of other countries should get permission before their intended visit to Egypt.

Visa Fee
Single Entry tourist visa fee is 26 Canadian Dollars while multiple entry tourist visit visa fee is 31 Canadian Dollar. Single Entry visit visa is valid for 90 days and multiple visit visas will be valid for 180 days. You can pay your fees either in person, or Postal Order made payable to the name of “Egypt Embassy Ottawa”.

Submission of Application
You can submit your application in person or using a postal service. You should use registered postal service to avoid loss of documents. In case you want to submit your application in person, you need to make a visit to the visa Consular section of the Egypt Embassy in London. You need to attach a stamped, pre-paid self addressed postal envelope with your application to get back your through post.

Processing Time
Egypt Embassy takes five working days to process the visa applications. However, there might be a change in time duration in specific situations.

Receive Visa
If you submit your visa application in person, you can collect it from the Egypt Embassy in Ottawa after a specific time has lapsed. However, if you submit visa application using postal service, you will be sent back your visa along with original documents on the address that you provided on the self-addressed, pre-paid postal envelope.
