Public & National Holidays in Brazil

Public holidays are an integral part of the country’s entire year’s plan. They form a special part of the work distribution plan because there is no work on a public holiday and people are suppose to enjoy an extra day apart from the weekends. Every country has some historical events that are the integral part of their culture. In order to honour those events, all working stations and offices are closed on the day these events are celebrated. People have the liberty to enjoy the day at their will. They can either honour the reason behind the holiday or they can take it as any other weekend and keep their personal plans intact. Mostly, people follow the former and join hands to show prosperity and dignity for their cultural or historic event. Brazil is enriched with multiple public holidays celebrated on different times of the year.
