Raspberry Fizzler Mocktail Recipe
A sweet, fizzy beverage made by mixing raspberry juice and carbonated water, the raspberry fizzler is a tasty and healthy fruit drink, which is particularly popular among children. The name of the beverage sounds like it was coined by a wacky children’s writer like Roald Dahl, and the drink lives up to its name – a fun and fruity raspberry flavour provides the base, while a splash of soda water adds a playful element of fizz.
Perfect for drinking with both lunch and supper, or as an evening snack during summertime, the raspberry fizzler is also great for dinner parties, particularly when children are invited. The drink is quick and easy to make, and you can prepare large quantities in advance, and store them in the refrigerator until serving time.

Ingredients:
– 2 cups red raspberries
– 1 tbsp lemon juice
– 2 tsp sugar
– 2 cups soda water
– 2 cups raspberry juice
Instructions
-
1
Chop up the raspberries
Begin by roughly chopping up the raspberries. Make sure you select the freshest, juiciest berries you can find, and then wash them thoroughly before chopping them up into large, rough chunks. Do not be too precise with the cutting, as the berries will get pulsed in the blender anyway. -
2
Add ingredients to blender and mix
Put the chopped raspberry chunks, soda water, lemon juice, raspberry juice, and sugar into the blender. The lemon and raspberry juice can easily be obtained from any grocery store, while soda water (carbonated water) is also readily available at any grocery market. Once all the ingredients are in, start up the blender, and pulse on high for 2 to 3 minutes. -
3
Take the raspberry fizzler out of blender
Keep pulsing until the mixture in the blender is absolutely smooth, and there are no large chunks of raspberry left. Once the beverage reaches this consistency, you can either pour it out into a pitcher, or into individual serving glasses. Put the pitcher/glasses in the refrigerator for some time, and allow the drink to chill. Once it is nice and cold, the raspberry fizzler is ready to serve.
