This revitalizing non-alcoholic punch will revive your senses and will help you get back up on your feet in no time. Packed with the energy and the beneficial properties of fresh fruit juices, this punch is bound to prove a favourite with both kids and adults.

Preparation time: 5 minutes
Serving size: Serves 6 persons
Utensils: Large bowl, pitcher

Ingredients:
– 1 cup crushed ice
– 2 cups pineapple juice
– 1/2 cup apricot juice
– 1 cup ginger ale
– 1 cup soda water
– 1/4 a cup of lemon juice
– 1 gram clear mineral ice cubes
– 2 lemons, thinly sliced

Instructions

  • 1

Start by placing the crushed ice in a bowl – ice can be crushed simply by putting a good amount of ice cubes in a plastic bag or in a towel, and giving it a couple of whacks with a rolling pin or a mallet. Once the ice splinters into lots of little pieces, and becomes slightly powdery, you will know your crushed ice is ready.

Next, add the tangy pineapple juice, ginger ale, sweet and mellow apricot juice, and the sour lemon juice into the bowl filled with crushed ice – the different tastes and properties of all the fruit juices make for a bright and exciting flavour. Then, pour in some soda water (but not too much, as this will dilute the taste of the fruit juices), and stir the ingredients together in the bowl until they are all thoroughly combined.

When your punch is ready, pour it out into a large pitcher. Place this in the refrigerator to chill it, and when you wish to serve it, take it out, and add in some clear mineral ice, followed by some thinly sliced lemon slices. Serve chilled.
