Romaine with Garlic Lemon Anchovy Dressing Recipe

Romaine with Garlic Lemon Anchovy Dressing is a scrumptious salad that is prepared with a combination of garlic, anchovy fillets, lemon juice, olive oil, romaine lettuce, Parmesan cheese, salt and pepper. Romaine with Garlic Lemon Anchovy Dressing can be a great side dish to go along with a meal, as it includes different vegetables. Ingredients:

– 1 clove garlic, minced
– 2 anchovy fillets, rinsed and patted dry
– 2 teaspoons fresh lemon juice
– 1/4 cup extra virgin olive oil
– 1 head romaine lettuce
– 1/4 pound Parmesan cheese
– salt and pepper to taste

    Take 1 head romaine lettuce and separate its leaves then with the help of a knife cut them crosswise so you have ½ inch wide pieces. Wash these ½ inch wide pieces of romaine lettuce well and then spin dry them.

    After this get a vegetable peeler and peel off 1/3 cup parmesan curls.

    Then, take a blender and combine anchovies, lemon juice and garlic in it. While the motor of the blender is running add olive oil in this mixture in a stream until the dressing is mixed well. This mixture will then be seasoned with salt and pepper.

    Use a bowl to toss the dressing along with romaine, salt, pepper (to taste) and 1/4 cup parmesan curls.

    After that take two plates and divide this mixture equally between them and top with residual parmesan curls. Romaine with Garlic Lemon Anchovy Dressing is ready and you can serve it right away.
