Dear Mr. Marten,
I am writing to inform that I shall not be in office for a period of two weeks and shall be on a leave of absence starting 12th January 2012.
As you are well aware of my condition, I will be undergoing a minor brain surgery on 13th January 2012, which will require at least two weeks of complete bed rest.
As I am involved in some mega projects these days, I have handed over my responsibilities to my back up, Mr. Tom. He has the capability to handle the projects without any problem.
I shall rejoin office and resume my duties on 27th January 2012.
Thanking you.
Yours sincerely,
Andrew Brown -
